Mr. Santoso, 52 years old, is the President Director of the Company as well as SMN who was appointed since November 2015 for a five-year term. He is responsible for the operational activities of the Company. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners of several companies within the Djarum Group including PT Unitras Energy as a Director, PT Cipta Karya Bumi Indah as the President Director, PT BCA Sekuritas as the President Commissioner and PT Grand Indonesia as a Commissioner. He previously worked in the Corporate Finance division of Ernst & Young, Jakarta, and as a Business Advisor of Arthur Andersen Global Corporate Finance, Jakarta.
Mr. Aming Santoso graduated from the University of Tarumanagara, Jakarta in 1988 with a degree in Accounting.
Mr. Gifari, 41 years old, has been the Vice President Director of the Company as well as the Vice President Director of SMN, since November 2015 for a five-year term. He served as the President Director of Protelindo from April 2007–2015. Prior to Protelindo, Mr. Adam Gifari served in the Investment Banking Division of PT Andalan Artha Advisindo Sekuritas from 2003–2007 and as a Research Analyst for PT Andalan Artha Advisindo Sekuritas from 1999–2002.
Mr. Adam Gifari graduated from the University of Indonesia in 1999 with a degree in Financial Management.
Mr. Weiss, 63 years old, is the Vice President Director of the Company and SMN since November 2015 for a five-year term. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Weiss was in the banking industry for 15 years with his last position as head of the TMT and Renewable Energy Sector for The Royal Bank of Scotland in Asia. Mr. Weiss has also worked for First Interstate Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and ABN Amro Bank and for Indosat in Indonesia and Tele2 in Sweden in corporate roles. Before that, Mr. Weiss was a Foreign Service Officer with the US Department of State serving in Turkey and Egypt.
He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics from Stanford University and his Masters of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Hadiprodjo, 47 years old, Indonesian citizen, is the Director of the Company which was appointed based on resolutions of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company dated November 20, 2015 for a five-year term. Previously, he worked with PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk as Head of Tax, PT Grand Indonesia as Finance & Accounting General Manager, and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Jakarta.
Mr. Eko Hadiprodjo graduated from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) YKPN, Yogyakarta in 1994 and earned his Master’s Degree in Management from Prasetya Mulya Graduate School of Management, Jakarta in 1996.
Mr. Gunawan, 43 years old, Indonesian Citizen, served as Independent Director of Protelindo since May 2013. His latest appointment was based on Resolutions in Lieu of a Meeting of Shareholders of the Company dated 25 April 2018 as Director of the Company.
In August 2003, Mr. Indra Gunawan started his career with Protelindo as the General Manager of Operations and then was promoted to the Vice President of Inter-Carrier and External Relations. Prior to joining Protelindo, Mr. Indra Gunawan worked with PT Siemens Indonesia from 1997-2003 in several managerial roles as Project Controller, Group Leader of Product Management, Project Coordinator, and Siemens Wireless Java Coordinator.
Mr. Indra Gunawan graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1997 from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Surabaya and earned his Master’s Degree in Economics in 2005 from the University of Indonesia, Depok. Mr. Gunawan earned his Doctoral Degree in Business and Management in 2012 from the University of Padjadjaran, Bandung. He is currently also actively teaching as a Lecturer in a Management Magister Program.
Mr. Santosa, 49 years old, has been a Director of the Company since July 2010. His latest appointment is based on Resolutions in Lieu of a Meeting of Shareholders of the Company dated 25 April 2018 as Independent Director of the Company. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the Company’s finance and accounting operation.
Previously, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 9 years from 1993-2002; a Director for Indopacific Public Relation from 2002–2003; Financial Specialist for Conoco Phillips from 2003–2004; a Principal Consultant for LM Faculty of Economics University of Indonesia from 2004–2005; CFO for Eye Corp Media Indonesia from 2005–2007; and VP of Finance for the Company from 2007–2009.
Mr. Santosa earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1993 in Accounting from Trisakti University and earned a Master’s Degree in Finance in 1997 from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
